(Last Updated On: September 22, 2022)

You will need to replace the battery on your Roomba once every few years.

Don’t worry though, these batteries are very easy to replace.

In this tutorial I will show you how to do it in less than 10 minutes.

How Many Years Does a Roomba Battery Last?

The battery inside your Roomba lasts around two to three years.

However, the time will vary depending on how often you use it and what kind of environment it’s used in.

For example, if you live in a very hot climate then the battery is going to wear out faster than if you live in an area with cooler temperatures.

How do I know if my Roomba battery needs a new one?

This is very simple. Once your Roomba battery starts to drain more quickly than it did when it was new, then that means that you will need to replace it soon.

If the battery completely dies when your Roomba is in use then this too means that you should change the battery.

Most of the time, however, if your Roomba is not picking up dirt properly, then it’s likely that there might be something wrong with the battery or its connections.
